Kuwait’s oil minister expressed optimism about increased demand, especially from Asia, following the rate cut. However, analysts remain cautious, noting that the Fed’s move reflects broader economic concerns. Persistent oversupply and weak U.S. fuel demand continue to pressure the market, despite a sharp drop in crude stockpiles and record-low net imports. A surprise build in diesel inventories further dampened sentiment, highlighting ongoing demand challenges in the world’s largest oil-consuming nation.
